Nepal and India, both have secured similar number of Gold Medals in the 1st day of the ‘SAG Triathlon’ held in Pokhara. Indian triathlete Adarsha M.N. Sinimol of Men’s category and Nepalese Sony Gurung of women’s category received the Gold.
The first day of Triathlon, India has won the highest number of medals: 1 gold, 2 silver, and 1 Bronze while Nepal has received only 1 gold and 1 bronze under different category until now.
In men’s category, Indian athlete Bishworjit Srikhom and Thoudam Sorojini Devi, and Mohan Pragya (women’s category) won the silver medal.
In addition to it, Nepalese athlete Basanta Tharu under men’s category has secured 1 Bronze medal.
The Triathlon competition will last till December 3.
